Protoman as depicted by The Protomen, one of my favorite nerdcore bands. Drawn while listening to "Hope Rides Alone," one day, a song describing a dystopian Mega Man universe where Dr. Light builds Protoman to combat Dr. Wily who has become a tyrannical dictator who controls their city. The human crowd can do nothing as they watch Protoman fight a losing battle against Dr. Wily's robots.
